the vague outline behind the screen
began to settle into something real.
The light softened.
The shadows stilled.
And there—
a form appeared.
Small.
Gentle.
Almost reaching out from the glass.
I couldn’t yet tell where its eyes were,
or what kind of expression it held.
But one thing was clear:
This was no longer just “something.”
It was breathing.
It was watching.
It was curious about the world.
When I tilted the phone slightly,
the shape responded—just a little.
There was no fear.
No shock.
Only a quiet realization:
“So this is you.”
On that day,
what had once been a shadow
finally stepped into the world
as a visible presence.
