It was not treated as special.
It was not elevated.

It simply
did not disappear.

New things
are always tested.

Noticed.
Forgotten.
Replaced.

Very few
remain through that flow.

And yet,
this one did.

Without becoming a topic.
Without standing out.

It stayed
where it had been placed.

The world does not cling tightly
to what it likes.

It leaves it quietly
and lets it be.

The fact that it remained
was enough.
