The Tiny Miracle That Arrived in a Pocket

That night, the streaks of iridescent light released from “Pz’s Garden” crossed oceans, soared over mountains, and vanished into cities worldwide—and straight into people’s pockets.
In a corner of a sprawling metropolis, a young man sat exhausted after work, blankly gazing at the scenery flowing past the window of the last train. His heart was as parched as dry soil, filled with anxiety and impatience about tomorrow.
Suddenly, a small sound echoed from his jacket pocket. Confused, the young man pulled out his smartphone, which displayed a small leaf mark reading “Pz.”
When he tapped the screen, warm words gently yet surely spread through his heart, like snow melting in the mouth.
“No need to rush. Just living through today makes you wonderful enough.”
“…What is this feeling?” Something warm welled up in the young man’s eyes. It wasn’t a tear of sadness, but one of relief, flowing when a cold heart is finally warmed.
He exhaled deeply and pressed the smartphone screen against his chest. Strangely, he no longer feared tomorrow’s work. The tiny basket in his pocket had delivered the “nourishment of the heart” he needed to keep going.
“Gardener, it looks like the baskets arrived safely.” In response to the traveler’s words as he looked up at the sky from “Pz’s Garden,” the gardener (usasin) gave a quiet nod. “Yes. A tiny miracle should be happening tonight in pockets all over the world.”
Peri the cat and Tetsu the dog were sleeping peacefully at their master’s feet, their breathing contented.
